Breakdown of Platform Settings

General 

Allows the administrators to add a specific time zone and  location address, which will  be displayed on the overview map. This is done by manually entering the location address and selecting ‘ save centre and  zoom’.

Alerts 

The type of information available in this section is:

ARC Escalation policy 

As an administrator of the dashboard you can add your own escalation policy. Once added this will  be visible on  the alert page once a controller assigns themselves to a user alert.

Alert Incident type 

This allows you  to create additional preset alert types

Time to deal with an alert 

You can set the time in minutes that a controller has to deal with the alert before it is added back to the stack on the alerts overview page

Controller Alert Limit  

This will display the maximum number of alerts a controller can deal with at once

Tracking alert display time 

This shows the amount of time a  user will remain visible on the overview map without a  signal being received from their device

Alert Sound

This gives you the ability to  select up to 5 options to change the  alert sound variation when a App user raises an alert through the dashboard

Duress Alert Sound

It works in the same way as the alert sound, which gives you 5 options to change the alert sound variation for  when the App user raises an  ‘duress’ alert 

Length of alert sound 

This displays the length of time the alert sound continues on dashboard before stopping  when an alert is raised by the  App user

To complete, simply press ‘ Save Alert settings’.
